Cosmin Vâtcă
Cosmin Andrei Vâtcă (born 12 May 1982), is a Romanian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Vâtcă began his career in his home town of Turda at CSS Turda. The first important club for which he played was FC Bihor. He made his debut in Liga I (then ''Divizia A''), on 2 May 2004, in a match against Steaua București. He signed for €12,000 with Oțelul Galați in January 2006. The first match he played for Oțelul Galați was the shocking 3–0 away win against Dinamo București. He has the reputation of a good goalkeeper, with very good reflexes who sometimes makes mistakes. In the 2006–2007 season, he made 33 appearances in Liga I for Oțelul Galați, having conceded 54 goals. He joined Steaua București in the summer of 2007 for €550,000, but he did not play in any matches during the 2007/2008 season of Liga I. Turda
Turda (; hu, Torda, ; german: link=no, Thorenburg; la, Potaissa) is a city in Cluj County, Transylvania, Romania. 2019–20 Liga I
The 2019–20 Liga I (also known as Casa Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons) was the 102nd season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs, which began in July 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020. Suspended in March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania, the season resumed on 13 June and effectively ended on 5 August. It was the fifth season to take place since the play-off/play-out rule had been introduced. CFR Cluj were two-time defending champions, and they successfully defended their title once more. Universitatea Craiova contented for the trophy until the final fixture of the championship play-offs, and ultimately finished as runner-ups, while FCSB were unable to claim a top three spot in the table for the first time since the 2010–11 season. The 2018–19 Liga I (also known as Liga 1 Betano for sponsorship reasons) was the 101st season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season began on 20 July 2018 and ended on 2 June 2019, being the fourth to take place since the play-off/play-out rule has been introduced. Dunărea Călărași and Hermannstadt joined as the promoted clubs from the 2017–18 Liga II. CFR Cluj managed to defend the title for the first time in their history, while FCSB became the first team in the country to finish as runner-ups for four consecutive seasons in a row. The 2017–18 Liga I (also known as Liga 1 Betano for sponsorship reasons) was the 100th season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season began on 14 July 2017 and ended on 2 June 2018, being the third to take place since the play-off/play-out format has been introduced. Defending champions Viitorul Constanța came fourth. CFR Cluj became the new champions in the last fixture of the play-off, clinching their fourth league title after finishing one point above FCSB.
