Cormac O'Brien (hurler)
Cormac O'Brien (born 2001), is an Irish hurler who plays as a defender for club side Newtownshandrum and at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. Career O'Brien first came to prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the Newtownshandrum club before joining the club's senior team in 2019. As a schoolboy at CBS Charleville he also lined out in various hurling competitions including the Harty Cup. O'Brien first appeared on the inter-county scene as a half back on the Cork under-17 team that won the one-off All-Ireland Under-17 Championship in 2017. A year with the Cork minor team followed before he won consecutive All-Ireland Under-20 Championships in 2020 and as team captain in 2021. O'Brien joined the Cork senior hurling team as a member of the extended training panel in 2021 and made his debut in the National League against Limerick. Newtownshandrum GAA
Newtownshandrum GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the small village of Newtownshandrum in County Cork, Ireland. The club, situated in half a parish of about 800 people, was founded in 1896 and is almost exclusively concerned with the game of hurling. In senior hurling Newtownshandrum compete annually in the Cork Senior Club Hurling Championship, which they have won four times as of 2009. The club, one of the few senior teams from the Avondhu division in the northern part of the county, also competes in various other championships in all grades within Cork. Overview The oldest piece of evidence which shows the existence of hurling in Newtownshandrum comes in the form of a medal inscribed 'Newtown Hurling Club 1896'. Pádraic Moylan (born 2002) is an Irish hurler. At club level he plays with Dicksboro and at inter-county level with the Kilkenny senior hurling team. Career Moylan first played hurling at juvenile and underage levels with the Dicksboro club, while also playing as a schoolboy with St. Kieran's College. He won a Kilkenny MHC title with Dicksboro in 2019. Moylan has also lined out with DCU Dóchas Éireann in the Fitzgibbon Cup. Moylan first appeared on the inter-county scene as a member of the Kilkenny minor hurling team that lost the 2018 All-Ireland minor final to Galway. Jack Cahalane (born 2002) is an Irish Gaelic footballer and hurler who plays for club sides St Finbarr's and Castlehaven and at senior level with the Cork county football team. 2021 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship
The 2021 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the third staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 58th staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the minor and senior grades. The championship began on 29 June 2021 and ended on 18 August 2021. The 2021 championship was the first to begin before the previous year's championship had concluded.
