Corey Williams (basketball, Born 1970)
Corey Williams (born April 24, 1970) is an American retired professional basketball player and current interim head coach for the Texas Tech Red Raiders of the Big 12 Conference. He is the former men's basketball head coach of Stetson University. A 6'2" (1.88 m) point guard from Oklahoma State University, Williams was selected by the Chicago Bulls in the second round of the 1992 NBA draft. He played one season with the Bulls, averaging 2.3 points in 35 games as a reserve on a team which won the NBA Championship. He then spent the 1993-94 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, scoring 11 points in 4 games. He spent the majority of the 1994 season with the Oklahoma City Cavalry of the Continental Basketball Association. Twiggs County is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 8,022. The county seat is Jeffersonville. 1992 NFL Draft
The 1992 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 26–27, 1992, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season. The 1992 NBA draft took place on June 24, 1992, at Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon. The draft is considered to be one of the deepest in NBA history. The top three picks (Shaquille O'Neal, Alonzo Mourning, Christian Laettner) were considered can't-miss prospects. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time.
