Nasreen Munni Kabir (born 1950) is an India-born television producer, director and author based in the U.K. She is best known for producing an annual season of Indian films for the British terrestrial television channel Channel 4. Javed Akhtar (born 17 January 1945) is an Indian poet, lyricist, screenwriter and political activist.
