"Control" is the debut single by American Hip hop music, hip hop artist Kid Sister from her album ''Ultraviolet (Kid Sister album), Ultraviolet''. The song was released via Fool's Gold Records in 2007 and is included in the Android (operating system), Android operating system for mobile devices. Background and release "Control" was co-written and produced by Alex Epton, better known as Spank Rock's XXXChange, XXXchange. The b-side "Damn Girl" was produced by A-Trak, with a Gant-Man remix also included. Flosstradamus later remixed the song. The single was released in 2007 on a 12" vinyl and also via the iTunes Store. Melissa Young (born July 3, 1980), known professionally as Kid Sister, is an American rapper based in Chicago, Illinois. She is known for her single " Pro Nails", which features Kanye West, and for her work as a member of the British music collective Sault. Biography Kid Sister was born Melisa Young on July 3, 1980 in Markham, Illinois. She started to rap in October 2006, becoming an MC at monthly dance parties hosted by DJ duo Flosstradamus (Josh Young, of Flosstradamus, is Melisa's brother), who were featured in MTV's ''My Block'' that same year. Alain Macklovitch (born March 30, 1982), known by his stage name A-Trak, is a Canadian DJ, record producer, and record executive. He came to prominence in the late 2000s as an international club DJ and remix artist, known for incorporating highly technical turntable skills and scratching into his genre-spanning work. Flosstradamus is the stage name of American DJ and musician Curt Cameruci. From 2007 until 2016, Flosstradamus consisted of Cameruci and Josh Young from Chicago.
