The Conservative Students' Association ( no, Den Konservative Studenterforening) is a Norwegian students' association of the University of Oslo, located at Majorstuen, Slemdalsveien 7 together with the Norwegian Students' Society. It is politically conservative and is associated with the Conservative Party and the European Democrat Students. It was founded by Vilhelm Aubert Johan Vilhelm Aubert (7 June 1922 – 19 July 1988) was an influential Norwegian sociologist. Majorstuen
Majorstuen is a particularly affluent neighbourhood in the Frogner borough in the inner part of Oslo, Norway. Majorstuen is known for its vibrant downtown and especially its shopping area. The area has several elegant townhouses c. 1880–1890. The area is also an important public transport junction in Oslo, where all metro lines, three tram lines and five bus lines operate. It is served by Majorstuen station. The name The neighborhood was named after a well-known public house that was located on the east side of Sørkedalsveien. Norwegian Students' Society ( no, Det Norske Studentersamfund) is Norway's oldest student society. The Norwegian Students' Society was established during 1813 in Oslo, Norway. Two years after the Royal Frederick University (today named the University of Oslo) was founded, 18 of the 19 students formed the Norwegian Students' Society. It has been the centre of debate, culture and politics for over 200 years. The idea was to make a social, intellectual and cultural arena for the students in Norway's capital. Vilhelm Mariboe Aubert (29 December 1868 – 20 June 1908 ), commonly known by his nickname "Bille" Aubert, was a Norwegian jurist. Personal life Aubert was born in Christiania (now Oslo), Norway.
