''Confessions of a Teen Idol'' is an American reality series that began airing on VH1 on January 4, 2009 and concluded on February 22, 2009. It ran for eight episodes. The series was hosted and produced by former teen idols Scott Baio and Jason Hervey. The show was filmed in the same house used to film '' The Real World: Hollywood''. Synopsis The series chronicles the current careers of seven former teen idols and their attempts to get back into the limelight. Jason Hervey
Jason Robert Hervey (born April 6, 1972) is an American actor and television producer. He is best known for his role as Wayne Arnold on ''The Wonder Years''. Early life and acting Hervey was born in Los Angeles, the son of Marsha, a talent agent, and Alan Hervey, a retail sales manager. In his early career, Hervey had small roles in films including ''Back to the Future'', '' Pee-wee's Big Adventure'', ''Meatballs Part II'', '' Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment'', and had a recurring role as Charlie in the final season of ''Diff'rent Strokes''. ''Fame'' is an American television series originally produced between January 7, 1982, and May 18, 1987, by Eilenna Productions in association with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Television and sponsored by Yamaha musical instruments, which are prominently showcased in the episodes. The show is based on the 1980 motion picture of the same name. Using a mixture of comedy, drama and music, it followed the lives of the students and faculty at the New York City High School for the Performing Arts, now known as the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Most interior scenes were filmed in Hollywood, California. Adrian George Zmed (born March 14, 1954) is an American actor, singer and television personality, noted for the roles of Johnny Nogerelli in ''Grease 2'' and Officer Vince Romano in the '' T.J. ''The Grind'' was a dance music show broadcast on the cable television station MTV between 1992 and 1997. It replaced '' Club MTV'', and featured people dancing to music tracks in a studio, linked by various hosts, including Eric Nies (fresh from '' The Real World: New York'') and DJ Jackie Christie.
