''Condemned to Sin'' (German: ''Verdammt zur Sünde'') is a 1964 West German drama film directed by Alfred Weidenmann and starring Martin Held, Hildegard Knef and Heidelinde Weis.Goble p.1003 The film's sets were designed by the art director Hertha Hareiter. Location shooting took place in Austria at Rapottenstein Castle and around the city of Wels. Plot Germany at the time of the economic miracle. Hugo Starosta, expelled from eastern Germany annexed by Poland after the Second World War, is one of the few who didn't make it through the years of reconstruction. Tilla Durieux
Tilla Durieux (born Ottilie Godeffroy; 18 August 1880 – 21 February 1971) was an Austrian theatre and film actress of the first decades of the 20th century. Early Years Born Ottilie Helene Angela Godeffroy on 18 August 1880, she was the daughter of the Austrian chemist Richard Max Victor Godeffroy (1847–1895) and his wife, the Hungarian pianist Adelheid Ottilie Augustine Godeffroy (née Hrdlicka, died 1920), who was born in Romania. After graduating from elementary school, she switched to the public school in Vienna's 9th district. She was baptized in the evangelical parish Augsburg Confession in Vienna. Career She trained as an actress in Vienna, her native town, and made her debut at the Moravian Theatre in Olmütz (Olomouc) in 1902. Thomas Danneberg (2 June 1942 – 30 September 2023) was a German actor. He is best known as Charles Emerson in the 1967 Edgar Wallace film ''The Blue Hand'' and for dubbing over the actors Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terence Hill, Sylvester Stallone, John Cleese, Dan Aykroyd, Adriano Celentano, Nick Nolte, John Travolta, Michael York, Rutger Hauer and Dennis Quaid. Danneberg also collaborated with the German trance/techno-band E Nomine on a number of their albums. Thomas Danneberg retired from voice acting because of health reasons. He died from a stroke on 30 September 2023, at the age of 81.
