Communication (Armin Van Buuren Song)
"Communication" is an instrumental composition by Dutch DJ and producer Armin. It was initially released on 19 July 1999 as 12" vinyl in the Netherlands by Cyber Records. A vocal version of the track featuring Carmen Van Den Brakel was released the next year. The track is known as one of the favourite of Armin van Buuren's fanbase. The track reached a notable success in the United Kingdom. It is the first single from Armin's first studio album, '' 76''. Armin continued then to produce remixes of the track, including "Communication Part 3" released on 2 April 2007 which is the fourth single of Armin's compilation ''10 Years''. Background and release In an interview with ''Musikexpress'', Armin explained that he produced the track alone for 2 days in his parents' house of Leiden. Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren ( , ; born 25 December 1976) is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Leiden, South Holland. Since 2001, he has hosted ''A State of Trance'' (ASOT), a weekly radio show, which is broadcast to nearly 40 million listeners in 84 countries on over 100 FM radio stations. According to the website ''DJs and Festivals'', "the radio show propelled him to stardom and helped cultivate an interest in trance music around the world". Van Buuren has won a number of accolades. He has been ranked the number one DJ by ''DJ Mag'' a record of five times, four years in a row. ''Ginger'' is the debut studio album by Dutch electronic music producer Speedy J (Jochem Paap). Released via a joint deal between Plus 8 and Warp in September 1993, the album was the sixth release in Warp's ''Artificial Intelligence'' series, which focused on "electronic listening music" by different artists. It peaked at number 68 on the UK Albums Chart and remains Speedy J's most successful album there. After establishing himself as a techno producer and disc jockey, Paap recorded ''Ginger'' with the intention of transferring his techno sound to a home listening environment, an idea he shared with Plus 8 founder Richie Hawtin, who also contributed to the ''Artificial Intelligence'' series. Danny de Graaf (; born 30 March 1988, in Amsterdam), who performs under the stage name David Gravell (), is a Dutch DJ and trance record producer. He was voted for several IDMA's in 2015. David Gravell first gained recognition in 2013 for his original "Bulldozer", released on W&W's label Mainstage Music. He is signed exclusively to Armada. ''Perfecto Fluoro'' is the fifth DJ mix album by British electronic producer and disc jockey Paul Oakenfold, released in 1996 on Oakenfold's label Perfecto Records, then a subsidiary of Warner Music UK who are also credited. Dash Berlin is a Dutch electronic music duo started in 2007 in The Hague by Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn. Dash Berlin were voted the seventh most popular DJs in the world according to ''DJ Mag'' in 2012; Kalberg and Molijn were record producers.
