Preuilly-sur-Claise () is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. Situation Preuilly-sur-Claise is situated at the extreme south of the Touraine at crossroad of Berry (Indre) and Poitou (Vienne) on the Claise river. The village lies 24 km from Descartes, 30 km from Le Blanc, 34 km from Châtellerault and 35 km from Loches. Yzeures-sur-Creuse
Yzeures-sur-Creuse (, literally ''Yzeures on Creuse'') is a commune in the department of Indre-et-Loire, Centre-Val de Loire, France. It is one of the oldest towns in Touraine, occupation dating back to the Upper Paleolithic era earlier than 10,0 CE. Today, it is a village of 1300 inhabitants, situated in a rural setting. The town benefits from the spa activity of the nearby town of La Roche-Posay. Yzeures also offers a range of tourism activities and second homes are numerous. Neuilly-le-Brignon () is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. It is a small village near Descartes, Le Grand-Pressigny, and Abilly. History The village of Neuilly-le-Brignon is mentioned for the first time by Gregory of Tours in the sixth century under the name of ''Noviliacus vicus'' and ''Nobiliacensis pagus''. Le Grand-Pressigny
Le Grand-Pressigny () is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. There is a Chalcolithic flint mine located in the commune. It produced an unusual caramel-coloured stone which appears to have been highly prized across Europe with examples found in the Pyrenees, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
