The Committee of Selection (Malay: ''Jawantankuasa Pemilih''; ; Tamil: மலேசிய பொதுமக்கள் தேர்வுக் குழு) is a select committee of the House of Representatives in the Parliament of Malaysia. The committee is best known for appointing members of committees established under resolutions of the House and the Standing Orders for Public Business. Members are elected at the beginning of each session. Democratic Action Party (Malaysia)
The Democratic Action Party (abbreviation: DAP; ms, Parti Tindakan Demokratik; ; ta, ஜனநாயக செயல் கட்சி) is a centre-left social democratic political party in Malaysia. As one of four component parties of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition, it formed the federal government after defeating Barisan Nasional in the 2018 Malaysian general election, ending the party's 53 year-long stay in the opposition.
