''Coming In for the Kill'' is the second and last album by British pop duo Climie Fisher, released in October 1989. The album was less successful than its predecessor ''Everything'', peaking at #35 in the United Kingdom. The track "Facts of Love" would later be covered by Christian pop singer, Kim Boyce three years later on her 1992 album of the same name. In 2009 the record company Edsel re-released and remastered both Climie Fisher albums, and included all the original b-sides, with the notable exception of the original version of "Love Like a River". Climie Fisher
Climie Fisher were a British pop duo formed by vocalist Simon Climie and former Naked Eyes keyboardist Rob Fisher. In 1987–88, they had two international hit singles: " Rise to the Occasion" and "Love Changes (Everything)". Career Simon Climie and Rob Fisher met at Abbey Road Studios, where they were both performing as session musicians. The duo is best known for the 1987 hit single "Love Changes (Everything)" which won an Ivor Novello Award. It reached number 67 in the UK and, after a remix and re-released, number 2 in the UK, 12 in New Zealand, 24 in Australia, 7 in Germany, 8 in Switzerland, 15 in Austria and 23 in the US, all in 1988. Neil Taylor (guitarist)
Neil Taylor (born 26 January 1961) is an English guitarist, best known for his long-time affiliation with Robbie Williams and for formerly being a member of Tears for Fears. Career Taylor started playing in local bands in his youth before joining Neon (British band), Neon as a session musician in the early 1980s. During this time he met Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal who, after founding Tears for Fears, asked Taylor to tour with them and play guitar tracks for their second album, ''Songs from the Big Chair'' (1985), and their third ''The Seeds of Love'' (1989). Taylor toured with the band several times between 1983 and 1990 and appears on their live concert videos ''In My Mind's Eye'' (1984) and ''Going to California (Tears for Fears video), Going to California''. Power Station at BerkleeNYC, formerly known as Avatar Studios (1996–2017) and Power Station, is a recording studio at 441 West 53rd Street between Ninth and Tenth avenues in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood in Manhattan, New York City. Advision Studios was a recording studio in Fitzrovia, central London, England. Origins Founded in the 1960s by Guy Whetstone and Stephen Appleby, Advision originally provided voiceovers and jingles for television advertisements. The studio was initially located at 83 New Bond Street, but moved to 23 Gosfield Street in 1969. Mayfair Recording Studios, earlier called Spot Studios or Ryemuse Studios, was a recording studio in London, England, located in Mayfair from the 1960s to 1981, then in Primrose Hill from 1981 until it closed in 2008. In the early years the studio was owned by Ryemuse Ltd and was called Spot Studios. It was located at 64 South Molton St, Mayfair, above the chemist shop.
