"Coming Home for Christmas" is a song by the German band Banaroo, from their second studio album, ''Christmas World''. The song is written and produced by Carsten Wegener and Timo Hohnholz. In 2009 Vicky Chassioti as Vicky Chase covered the song and released it as her debut single on November 20, 2009 through Na klar! Records. Chart performance In Germany, "Coming Home for Christmas" debuted at number twelve on the German Singles Chart after the single release, making it Banaroo's third single to chart on the German Singles Chart. After four weeks the song moved from number twelve to number eight, which became its peak. "Coming Home for Christmas" became their third highest peaking song on the German Singles chart, behind "Dubi Dam Dam" and " Space Cowboy". Banaroo
Banaroo was a German pop group active from 2005-2008 and then 2013 with a new line up. They had several successful singles in countries including Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The first line-up consisted of Robbert "Bobby" Dessauvagie, Vittorio "Vito" Magro, Stefanie "Steffy" Dreyer and Kathrin "Cat" Geißler and were active from 2005 until they disbanded in 2008. In 2013, the group was relaunched with new members Doro Farkas, Laura Luppino, Alvin Philipps and Daniel Langer. The second line-up disbanded on November 6, 2013. Cherona
Cherona is a German-Ukrainian Europop group that was formed by the TV station Super RTL. The first single, "Ching Chang Chong" was released on 1 January 2009, and peaked at #15 in the German Top 100. Their follow-up song " Rigga-Ding-Dong-Song", originally by the group Passion Fruit, was also a hit. Both appear in the band's 2009 album ''Sound of Cherona''.
