Tirzah (musician)
Tirzah is an English singer-songwriter. Her first solo record, the EP ''I'm Not Dancing'' was released in 2013 on Greco-Roman. In 2014, she released the EP ''No Romance'', followed by her single "Make It Up" in 2015. Her debut studio album, '' Devotion'', was released in 2018 on Domino. Her second studio album '' Colourgrade'' was released on 1 October 2021, also on Domino. Personal life Tirzah was born in Braintree, Essex as the youngest of five children. After growing up playing Celtic Harp, she attended the Purcell School for Young Musicians with Mica Levi. She has two children (born 2018 and 2020) with musician Giles Kwakeulati King-Ashong, also known by his stage name Kwake Bass. They currently reside in Sidcup. Mica Levi
Mica Levi (; b. 28 February 1987), also known by their stage name Micachu, is an English singer, songwriter, composer and producer. Levi is classically trained and since 2008 has released experimental pop music with their band Good Sad Happy Bad (formerly Micachu and the Shapes), including the critically praised debut album ''Jewellery'' in 2009. In 2014, Levi branched out into film composing, creating the score for the Jonathan Glazer film '' Under the Skin''. Their work was widely praised and Levi received a European Film Award for Best Composer and a BAFTA Award for Best Film Music nomination. Their score for Pablo Larraín's '' Jackie'' received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Score. Kwes (; sometimes stylised as ''kwes'', ''kwes.'', ''Kwes.'' or '' =o'' ) is a British music producer and artist from London, England. Kwes is also currently signed to Warp as a solo artist and released his debut album, ''ilp'' in October 2013. Coby Sey
Coby Sey is a British musician, songwriter, artist, vocalist and NTS Radio host, based in Lewisham, London. He has worked with musicians Tirzah, Mica Levi, DELS, Kwes, Klein, Lafawndah and London Contemporary Orchestra, artists Hannah Perry and Maëva Berthelot and has remixed Kelly Lee Owens, Max de Wardener and Leifur James. In 2019 he had a featured session on BBC Radio 3 Late Junction in an improvised collaboration with PAN affiliated artist Pan Daijing. The Official Record Store Chart is a weekly music chart based on physical sales of albums in almost 100 independent record stores in the United Kingdom, such as Rough Trade, Rounder Records, Jumbo and Sound It Out. It is compiled by the Official Charts Company (OCC), and each week's number one is first announced on Friday evenings on the OCC's official website. The chart's launch was first announced by the OCC on 17 April 2012 – at the time, British record stores were selling 4.5 million albums per year, and were contributing towards 95 per cent of the country's total vinyl sales. However, music downloads held a considerable share of the albums market, leading to a decline in the number of outlets. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. The UK Independent Singles Breakers Chart and the UK Independent Album Breakers Chart are music charts based on UK sales of singles and albums released on independent record labels by musical artists who have never made the UK top 20. Roy Nnawuchi, better known by his pseudonym Dean Blunt, is a British singer-songwriter, musician and contemporary artist. He is best known for his current solo work as well as his previous work as part of avant-garde duo Hype Williams (along with Inga Copeland), and more recently, the hip hop group Babyfather.
