The Colombia women's national volleyball team represents Colombia in international competitions in Woman, women's volleyball. The squad won its first continental medal at the 1991 edition of the Women's South American Volleyball Championship, South American Championship. Boosted by the FIVB's Volleyball Empowerment program, the Colombian women's volleyball team has reached new heights in recent years. 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup
The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup was the third edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup, an annual women's international volleyball tournament contested by eight national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. The tournament was held at Krešimir Ćosić Hall in Zadar, Croatia, between 28 and 31 July 2022. Croatia won the title, defeating Belgium in the final, and earned the right to participate in the 2023 Nations League replacing Belgium, the last placed challenger team in the 2022 edition. The 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 25th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 32 teams between 7 July and 6 August.
