Cultura Géminis is a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Comas, Lima, Peru. History The club was founded on the October 29, 1967 under the name of Club Cultural Deportivo Géminis in the city of Comas, Lima. In 2010 Copa Perú, the club qualified to the National Stage when they defeated Atlético Pilsen Callao, La Peña Sporting and Deportivo Municipal in the Regional Stage; but was eliminated by Deportivo Hospital. In 2011 Copa Perú, the club qualified to the National Stage, but was eliminated by Universidad Nacional de Ucayali in the round of 16. Club Deportivo Municipal
Club Centro Deportivo Municipal, commonly known as Deportivo Municipal, is a Peruvian football club based in Lima, Peru. They are among Peru's most recognizable clubs and enjoy considerable popularity. The bulk of their success was won a few years after the club was founded in 1935. The club was a top-flight contender during this period and won four Primera División titles. The club suffered relegation three times in their history: 1967, 2000, and 2007. They have also been champions of the Segunda División on three occasions: 1968, 2006, and 2014, granting them promotion to the first division. The Peruvian football league system is a complex system. Though the general outline includes the Liga 1, Liga 2 and Copa Perú. The Copa Perú is very large involving several stages and leagues within it. In addition, the Copa Perú is played within a year. 2011 Copa Perú
The 2011 Copa Perú season ( es, Copa Perú 2011), the promotion tournament of Peruvian football, started on February. The tournament has 5 stages. The first four stages are played as mini-league round-robin tournaments, except for third stage in region IV, which is played as a knockout stage. The final stage features two knockout rounds and a final four-team group stage to determine the two promoted teams.
