Club Comunicaciones is an Argentina, Argentine sports club based in the Agronomía district of Buenos Aires. The association football, football team currently plays in Primera B Metropolitana, the regionalised third division of the Argentine football league system History The club was founded for a group of employees of the Argentine Post office company. The name chosen was ''Club Atlético Correos y Telégrafos'', referring to the name of the State mail company they worked for. In 1953 the club changed to its current name. At a sporting level, Comunicaciones offers a large variety of activities, such as gymnasiums, basketball courts, roller hockey, handball, tennis courts, extra football pitches and the main stadium. Lucas Fernando Banegas (born 18 December 1979) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a defender for Comunicaciones. Career Banegas played for Deportivo Merlo in Primera C Metropolitana between 2003 and 2004, featuring in a total of forty matches whilst scoring three times. In 2004, Comunicaciones signed Banegas. He remained for five years, with his first campaign concluding with promotion to Primera B Metropolitana. Banegas moved across the third tier to Tristán Suárez in 2009. Guillermo Pfund
Guillermo Nicolás Pfund (born 30 May 1989) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Club Olimpo. Career Pfund began in the youth of Unión de Tornquist, Boca Juniors and Vélez Sarsfield. In 2010, Deportivo Merlo of Primera B Nacional loaned Pfund. He was sent off on both his debut versus San Martín in February and his final appearance versus Boca Unidos in May. June 2011 saw Pfund join Peru's Cienciano on loan, though he'd return to Vélez Sarsfield months later to subsequently be loaned out to Swiss Challenge League side Bellinzona. Federico Axel Gay (born 7 December 1991) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a defender for Comunicaciones. Career Gay's career began with Independiente. He didn't appear in the Primera División, though was an unused substitute on four occasions. He made a sole appearance for them in the Copa Argentina on 12 June 2013, coming off the bench at the interval of a 1–0 defeat; though his bow lasted just thirty-four minutes after he received a red card on eighty minutes. Across the following eighteen months, Gay made loan moves to Aldosivi and Chacarita Juniors, where he won promotion.
