	Charles Clinger Charles M. Clinger (born December 28, 1976, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming) is a retired American high jumper. He won the bronze medal at the 1999 Pan American Games. His personal best jump is , achieved in May 2001 in Pocatello, Idaho. Personal life Clinger graduated from Star Valley High School ( Afton, Wyoming) in 1995. He attended Boise State University, leaving in 1996 for two years as an LDS Missionary in Brisbane, Australia. 	David Clinger David Clinger (born November 22, 1977 in Los Angeles) is a former professional road racing cyclist from the United States. He represented his native country at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In 2010, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency banned him for 2 years for use of synthetic testosterone and modafinil. In August 2011, David Clinger was issued a lifetime doping ban by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) after testing positive during a random test while serving a prior doping ban. Clinger accepted responsibility for using clenbuterol for performance-enhancing purposes, USADA said. The second violation prompted USADA to issue the lifetime competition ban. 	William Clinger William Floyd Clinger Jr. (April 4, 1929 – May 28, 2021) was an American attorney and Republican politician who represented northwest and north-central Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1979 to 1997. Early life and education Clinger was born in Warren, Pennsylvania, the son of Lella May (Hunter) and William F. Clinger. He attended the public schools there and graduated from The Hill School in 1947. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1951 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Virginia in 1965. He is known for his work on higher-order and functional programming languages, and for extensive contributions in helping create and implement international technical standards for the programming language Scheme via the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI). 	Clinge Clinge is a village in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Hulst, and lies about 28 km southwest of Bergen op Zoom. Clinge is located on the Dutch-Belgian border and joins with the Belgian town of De Klinge, in the Belgian municipality of Sint-Gillis-Waas. This border can normally be crossed freely. History The village was first mentioned in the 13th century as die clinc, and means hill. Clinge is a linear settlement. The moorland was cultivated in the 13th century and ''polder''ed in 1616. In 1830, it was cut off from its Belgian part and became an independent parish in 1875. The Catholic St Henricus Church was built in 1875 and is a three-aisled basilica like church.
