Clifford Bañagale
Clifford Bañagale is a Filipino-American actor who is best known for his role as Diesel in the movie ''Brüno''. His career started at age seven when he started training in opera, then acting in Equity theatre as an adult. Not long after graduating from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Clifford landed roles in various local and regional productions of Peter Pan, South Pacific, It's a Wonderful Life and The Magical Land of OZ. In 2009 he starred in the stage play Altar Boyz the Musical. The musical was nominated for four awards by the L.A. Weekly Theater Awards, winning Best Ensemble Cast and Best Choreography. ''Brüno'' is a 2009 mockumentary comedy film directed by Larry Charles and starring Sacha Baron Cohen, who produced, co-wrote, and played the gay Austrian fashion journalist Brüno. It is the third film based on one of Cohen's characters from ''Da Ali G Show'', following ''Ali G Indahouse'' and ''Borat''. The American Musical And Dramatic Academy
The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) is a private conservatory for the performing arts located in New York City and Los Angeles, California. The conservatory offers both Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees and two-year certificates in professional performance. Programs are offered in acting, musical theatre, dance, and performing arts. It is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre. History AMDA was founded in 1964 by Philip Burton and the New York theatre community. By 1970, the school had outgrown its original location on East 23rd Street and moved into a new building on Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village. ''Altar Boyz'' is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker and book by Kevin Del Aguila (based on an idea by Marc J. Kessler and Ken Davenport).
