Clarksville High School is a comprehensive public high school serving students in grades ten through twelve in Clarksville, Arkansas, United States. It is one of four public high schools in Johnson County and is the sole high school administered by the Clarksville School District. In 2012, Clarksville High School was nationally recognized as a bronze medalist by the ''U.S. News & World Report'' in its ranking of Best High Schools. Academics The student body makeup is 49 percent male and 51 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 27 percent. The assumed course of study follows the Smart Core curriculum developed the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), which requires students to complete 22 credit units before graduation. Clarksville High School is a public high school located in Clarksville in Montgomery County, Tennessee. It is part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. The original building was built in 1906 but the school moved to the current building in 1968. Clarksville High School holds the CMCSS Business Academy which provides an open enrollment option for entering freshman for Montgomery county. Its mascot is Wiley the Wildcat. The School colors are Purple and Gold, and the sports teams wear Purple and Gold with some Black. Athletics are part of the TSSAA. The School meets expectations for the Standardized Tests and ACT's. Clarksville High School is a public high school located in Clarksville, Texas, United States. It is part of the Clarksville Independent School District located in central Red River County and classified as a 2A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). In 2013, the school was rated " Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. Accountability Rating In past years, the campus had fallen victim to lower and lower test scores on the state-mandated TAKS Test. The District was determined to turn things around. After much hard work from educators and students, the Clarksville High School went from being an unacceptable campus to a "Recognized Campus" in 2009-2010. Clarksville Senior High School
Clarksville Senior High School is located in Clarksville, Indiana. It serves most of the town of Clarksville, Indiana, but the school boundaries do not exactly match the municipal boundaries. Some students within the town of Clarksville attend Jeffersonville High School or Silver Creek High School. Clarksville High School has an enrollment of approximately 390 students for the 2013–2014 school year. This is a drop from approximately 750 students in the late 1970s. The town of Clarksville presently has an estimated population of 22,000 residents. History The school opened its doors in 1955-1956 and the first class was graduated in 1958. Plans to build it were started in 1952 and, by 1955, the school was opened. Before it was built, Clarksville children either went to Jeffersonville High School or New Albany High School.
