Claire Suzanne Martin (born 12 May 1998 in Versailles) is a French former artistic gymnast. She is the 2015 European bronze medalist on the balance beam. She finished seventh on the balance beam at the 2014 European Championships and represented France at the 2014 and 2015 World Championships. Early life Claire Martin began gymnastics at the age of three at a club in Marsannay-la-Côte in a baby gymnastics class. At age eleven, Martin won the French Championships in the avenir division, and then at thirteen she won the espoir division. Junior career 2012 Martin made her international debut at the International Gymnix in Montreal where she placed thirty-third in the all-around and fifth on the balance beam. She competed at the Junior European Championships and finished seventh with the French team. Clare Martin (ice Hockey)
George Clarence Martin (February 25, 1922 – September 23, 1980) was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League for four teams between 1942 and 1952. He won the Stanley Cup with the Red Wings in 1950. He was born in Waterloo, Ontario. Playing career Martin's career began with the Boston Bruins in 1941–42 NHL season. After that season he enlisted in the Canadian military for World War II. He made it back to the NHL with the Bruins in 1947. He got his first taste on playoff experience that season. He played one more season with the Bruins in 1948. In 1949 he played for the Hershey Bears of the AHL. Clare Martin was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in the summer of 1949 along with Pete Babando, Lloyd Durham and Jimmy Peters for Pete Horeck and Bill Quackenbush. Claire Martin, OBE (born 6 September 1967) is an English jazz singer. Music career Martin was born in Colliers Wood, London. She grew up in a house "full of music" thanks to jazz-loving parents. She cites Ella Fitzgerald's ''Song Books'' as the inspiration to study singing at the Doris Holford Stage School and in New York and London. Her professional career began at the age of 19 when she sang in a hotel band in at the Savoy Hotel after auditioning to be a bluecoat Bournemouth.
