City College Station (Sacramento)
City College station is an at-grade light rail station on the Blue Line of the Sacramento RT Light Rail system operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. The station is located in an exclusive right-of-way alongside the Union Pacific Railroad's Sacramento Subdivision and a small rail yard, on the campus of Sacramento City College, after which the station is named, in the city of Sacramento, California. The station is located northeast of Charles C. Hughes Stadium on campus. City College station is a light rail station on the San Diego Trolley's Orange, Blue, and Silver Lines. It is located in the East Village neighborhood of the city and serves students at San Diego City College and San Diego High School, workers at warehouse facilities located on the outskirts of Downtown, and an increasing number of new apartment complexes. This station was closed from September 10, 2012 until November 16, 2012, for renovations as part of the Trolley Renewal Project, during which a temporary stop was erected one block away on C Street between 10th and 11th Avenues. Ocean Avenue/CCSF Pedestrian Bridge station (also known as City College) is a light rail station on the Muni Metro K Ingleside line, located between the Sunnyside and Ingleside neighborhoods of San Francisco, California adjacent to the City College of San Francisco (CCSF) campus. The stop consists of two side platforms in the median of Ocean Avenue, with stairs to a concrete footbridge that connects the campus to Geneva Avenue. It opened in 1979 with the extension of the line to Balboa Park station; it was previously served by the United Railroads 12 line from 1895 to 1945, and the K from 1945 to 1952. The station is also served by bus routes , (a weekday peak hours express service), , and , most of which stop at the nearby City College terminal.
