Lohit () is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. The district headquarters is located at Tezu. As of 2011 it is the third most populous district of Arunachal Pradesh, after Papum Pare and Changlang. Etymology It was known earlier as the Mishmi Hills. Nyapin
Nyapin, known as Nyoping to natives, is a subdivision of Kurung Kumey district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Overview Nyapin is located 56 km south of Koloriang, the headquarters of the district. It has an agrarian economy consisting mostly of wet paddy cultivation and "tumph-rungo" (jhum cultivation).
