History

After initially playing at Botwell Common, Hayes F.C. (then known as Botwell Mission) moved to the ground in Church Road. The site was originally named Cox's Meadow and later Townfield. It officially opened with a Whites vs Stripes trial match on 26 August 1920.

Church Road Ground
Lytham Cricket & Sports Club is a cricket ground in Lytham, Lancashire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1844, when Lytham played Kirkham. In 1985, the ground held its first first-class match when Lancashire played Nottinghamshire in the County Championship. From 1985 to 1998, the ground played host to 10 first-class matches, the last of which came in the 1998 County Championship between Lancashire and Worcestershire. The ground has also held a number of matches involving the Lancashire Second XI, holding a combined total of 9 Second XI fixtures for the Lancashire Second XI in the Minor Counties Championship and Second XI Championship. In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Lytham Cricket Club who play in the Liverpool and District Cricket Competition. Church Road Cricket Ground
Church Road was a cricket ground located along Church Road in Earley, Berkshire, England. The ground was bordered to the east by woodland and to the north, south and west by residential housing. It contained one pavilion, located in the north western corner of the ground. History The ground appears on maps of Reading as early as 1931, with the first recorded match a fixture in 1936 between London Club Cricket Conference and South of England Club Cricket Conference. Berkshire are first recorded as playing there in 1938 against the touring Rajputana cricket team. During the Second World War, Reading Cricket Club played several exhibition matches against London Counties and a British Empire XI. Berkshire first played Minor Counties Championship matches at the ground in 1948, playing Hertfordshire. Starting in 1952, the ground played host to one Minor Counties Championship match annually. Church Road, Barnes is a street in Barnes in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It runs from the junction between Rocks Lane (heading south towards Barnes Common and Barnes Station) and Castlenau (running northwards to Hammersmith Bridge) by the Red Lion pub, westwards to the end of Barnes High Street. It takes its name from the St Mary's Church, a Church of England building dating back to the twelfth century. Church End, known locally as "Church Road", is a small locality in the London Borough of Brent, north of Harlesden, west of Willesden and south of Neasden. Its population is predominantly British Afro-Caribbean community, Afro-Caribbean.
