Christian da Silva Fiel (born 14 Jun 1989), known as just Christian, is a Brazilian professional footballer who last played as a midfielder for Azeri club Turan Tovuz. Career Brazil Christian started his career at Brazil, where he played for Tuna Luso, Time Negra, Goiatuba, Evangélica, Castanhal and Grêmio Anápolis. When he was 18 years old, he was scouted and trialled at Sport Club Internacional, but when he turned 19, they thought he was too old for improvement. During his time in Evangélica, he played for free in order to attract interest from bigger teams. His football skills impressed the technical director of Grêmio Anápolis, Marco Aurelio and Teixeira and offered him a place in their squad in 2012, but his move was delayed for one year due to an injury problem. The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system. At the end of each season, the two top-finishing teams are promoted to the top-tier Primeira Liga and the two lowest-ranked teams are relegated to the third-tier league. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The Cypriot Super Cup is a Cypriot football trophy, contested in an annual match between the previous season's Cypriot First Division champions, and the Cypriot Cup winners.
