Chris Mahony
Chris Mahony (born 19 June 1981 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a former rugby union player for the Auckland Air New Zealand Cup team, playing fullback centre or wing. He played for Oxford University where he has completed a Masters in African Studies and a DPhil in Politics. Education Manony holds Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) and of Laws (LL.B.) degrees from the University of Otago, and a Master’s in African Studies (M.Sc.) and a D.Phil. in Politics from the University of Oxford. He was admitted to the bar of the High Court of New Zealand in 2006 where he appeared for the Crown in criminal and refugee matters. Career In 2003, Mahony drafted recommendations on governance and corruption for the Sierra Leone Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Christopher John Mahoney (June 11, 1885 – July 15, 1954) was a pitcher/center fielder in Major League Baseball who played briefly for the Boston Red Sox during the 1910 season. Listed at , 160 lb., Mahoney batted and threw right-handed. A native of Milton, Massachusetts, he studied at Fordham University and Manhattan College. In a three-game career, Mahoney was a .143 hitter (1-for-7) and scored a run. Christopher John Mahoney (born 2 January 1959) is a British rower who competed in the 1976 and 1977 World Junior Championships, the 1980 Summer Olympics, the 1981 World Championships and the 1984 Summer Olympics. He won a bronze medal at the 1977 World Junior Championships, silver in the 1980 Olympics and silver in the 1981 World Championships. He was born in London. Mahoney studied at Oriel College, Oxford.
