Chris James (audio Engineer)
Chris James is an American audio engineer who has worked as a recording engineer and/or mixing engineer for several musical artists including Kings of Leon, Luther Vandross and most famously alongside Prince with whom he was nominated at the 59th Grammy Awards in the Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical category for Prince's final studio project, ''Hit n Run Phase Two.'' He currently resides in the Los Angeles, California area. Paramore
Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro. Williams and Farro are founding members of the group, while York, a high school friend of the original lineup, joined in 2007. The band is signed to Fueled by Ramen, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records, both owned by Warner Music Group. Williams was separately signed to Atlantic as she was scouted when she was a teenager, and they were the only label to let her stay in the band instead of going solo, but Atlantic said the rest of the band had to sign to Fueled by Ramen. She is also the only member to appear on all five of Paramore's studio albums. ''Hit n Run Phase Two'' is the thirty-ninth studio album by American recording artist Prince and the last to be released within his lifetime. It was initially released exclusively on the Tidal streaming service on December 12, 2015 for streaming and purchase as a continuation of his previous album, ''Hit n Run Phase One''. Prince confirmed on Twitter that a physical CD would be released during a weekend of Paisley Park shows in January 2016. The CD was given away to attendees of the shows on the Australian and New Zealand leg of the Piano & a Microphone Tour. The album was finally given a worldwide CD release on May 6, 2016 through Universal Music Group, just over two weeks after his death.
