"Chopped 'n' Skrewed" is the second single released from R&B singer-songwriter T-Pain's third album, ''Thr33 Ringz''. The song features American rapper Ludacris. It was first released on the Canadian iTunes on September 22, 2008, the same day the song was also added to T-Pain's MySpace. It was released in the US on iTunes on September 30. The Screwed Up Click (or S.U.C.) is an American hip hop collective based in Houston, Texas, that was led by DJ Screw. Its most notable members include DJ Screw, Big Hawk, Big Mello, Big Moe, Big Pokey, the Botany Boyz, E.S.G., Fat Pat, Lil' Flip, Lil' Keke, Lil' O, and Z-Ro. The Hood Internet is an American record production duo based in Chicago, Illinois, specializing in mashups. It is composed of Aaron Brink (ABX) and Steve Reidell (STV SLV). History In 2007, the Hood Internet started posting the mashup tracks to their website. ''New York'' categorized the duo's mashup track of Chris Brown and A. C. Newman, titled "Drug Drug Kiss Kiss", in the "lowbrow" and "brilliant" quadrant of their Approval Matrix in 2007. Sophia Fresh was an American R&B girl group comprising three members, Skye, Crystal Tamar, and Cole Rose. The trio was set to release their debut album with executive producer T-Pain before disbanding in 2012. Music career The group was originally called Gyrlfriend and consisted of members Chelle, Skye, Cole Rose and Jade Johnson. The group signed their first major deal with J Records in 2005; however, the group eventually disbanded. Skye and Cole Rose then joined with Crystal to form Sophia Fresh.
