''Chop Chop'' is the sixth studio album by Irish band Bell X1. It was released on 28 June 2013 in Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands. The album released in the United Kingdom on 1 July 2013 and North America on 2 July 2013. The album The album's artwork designed by Alexis Deacon and the album's track listing was revealed on 3 April 2013. The band also revealed a special edition of the album which comes with a chopping board. Promo The band completed a short tour in Ireland and the US in 2012 where some of the new tracks were introduced to fans. The band began promotion for the album in March 2013 with the promo release of 'Starlings Over Brighton Pier'. The band announced a number of live dates in the US and Ireland beginning in New York on 7 June 2013 and additional dates in Ireland in Dublin and Cork where they performed at Live at the Marquee. Bell X1 are an Irish rock band from County Kildare. The group consists of Paul Noonan (lead vocals, guitar, percussion, keys), David Geraghty (guitar, vocals, keys, percussion, banjo, piano, harmonica) and Dominic Phillips (bass, vocals). Live At The Marquee (festival)
Live at the Marquee is a season of music concerts and other live performance events organised by Aiken Promotions in a large Marquee (tent), marquee in Cork (city), Cork, Ireland, every summer since 2005. For about a month in June and July, a concert is held most evenings; tickets for each night are sold separately, with varying lineups and pricing. Acts have represented many genres of popular music, including rock music, rock, folk music, folk, electronic music, electronic, hip hop, rhythm and blues, and country music, country; as well as stand-up comedy acts. The first season was part of Cork's 2005 year as European Capital of Culture. It proved successful enough to be repeated annually. Kodaline () are an Irish rock band. Originally known as 21 Demands, the band adopted their current name in 2012 to coincide with the changing of their music. The group comprises Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vincent May and Jason Boland. Garrigan and Prendergast grew up in Swords, Dublin, and have known each other since childhood. May and Garrigan attended Colaiste Choilm CBS, Swords, where they participated in battles of the bands. Boland joined the group in 2012. The Irish Albums Chart is the Irish music industry standard albums popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA). The charts were previously compiled on behalf of IRMA by Chart-Track, and have been compiled by the Official Charts Company since 2017. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' Point of sale systems and certain digital retailers. All major record stores and over forty independents submit data for the charts, accounting for over 80% of the market, according to Chart-Track. A new chart is compiled and released to the public by the Irish Recorded Music Association on Friday at noon. Each chart is dated with the "week-ending" date of the previous Thursday (i.e., the day before issue). The ''Daily Express'' is a national daily United Kingdom middle-market newspaper printed in tabloid format.
