Chongqing University of Technology (CQUT) is a public research university in Chongqing. It was founded as Shiji Public School on 18 September 1940 by ordnance expert . Overview The university was established on 18 September 1940, it now has around 26,000 students and 1,590 teachers. Chongqing University of Technology used to be named the Chongqing Technology Institute, one of four universities with a traditional ordnance department. It originated from the 11th Technical School of the Department of War Industry, which was founded on 18 September 1940. The 11th Technical School of the Department of War Industry was called 21-Factory Technical School in short, and its external anonym was "Shiji Public School". Although its public identity was technical school, it acted to train professionals in weapon production for the Nationalist government. Li Chenggan
Li Chéngqián (李承乾) (618 – 5 January 645), courtesy name Gaoming (高明), formally Prince Min of Hengshan (恆山愍王), was a crown prince of the Chinese Tang Dynasty. He was Emperor Taizong's oldest son and first crown prince, but was replaced later by his younger brother Li Zhi (the eventual Emperor Gaozong). Li Chengqian was created crown prince in 626 at the age of eight (by East Asian reckoning), after his father became emperor on 4 September. In his youth, he had a reputation for good judgment, but was also said to be suffering from a foot illness. Later on, he was said to be frivolous, favoring Tujue customs instead of studying about ways to rule an empire. He lost favor in Emperor Taizong's eyes to a younger brother, Li Tai the Prince of Wei. The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC; ) is an organization directly affiliated to China's State Council for the management of the National Natural Science Fund. History NSFC was founded in February 1986 by theoretical chemist Tang Aoqing, with the approval of the State Council. It is an institution for the management of the National Natural Science Fund, aimed at promoting and financing basic research and applied research in China. In 2010 NSFC launched a medical department, analogous to the United States' National Institutes of Health.
