Chiyokawa Station
is a passenger railway station located in the city of Kameoka, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). Lines Chiyokawa Station is served by the San'in Main Line (Sagano Line), and is located from the terminus of the line at . Station layout The station consists of two opposed side platforms connected to the station building by a footbridge. The station is staffed. Platforms History Chiyokawa Station opened on 20 July 1935. With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company. Station numbering was introduced in March 2018 with Chiyokawa being assigned station number JR-E13. The current station building was renovated in 2021 and opened for service in February of that year. Sanin Main Line
The is a railway line in western Japan, which connects Kyoto and Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). It is the major railway line of the San'in region, approximately paralleling the Japan Sea, crossing Kyoto, Hyōgo, Tottori, Shimane, and Yamaguchi prefectures. The main portion from Kyoto to Hatabu is the longest single continuous railway line in Japan at , although no regularly scheduled train operates over the entire line. Izumo-daijingū
is a Shinto shrine in the Chitose neighborhood of the city of Kameoka in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It is the ''ichinomiya'' of former Tanba Province. Tanba Kokubun-ji
is a Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple in the Chitose neighborhood of the city of Kameoka, Kyoto, Japan. It claims to be the successor to one of the provincial temples established by Emperor Shōmu during the Nara period (710–794). Due to this connection, the foundation stones of the Nara period temple now located to the south of the present day complex were designated as a National Historic Site in 1928 with the area under protection extended in 2006.
