Chiodos (, ) was an American post-hardcore band from Davison, Michigan. Formed in 2001, the group was originally known as “The Light-hearted Carpet Knights” before changing their name to "The Chiodos Bros," the band's name was a tribute to filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, responsible for the film '' Killer Klowns from Outer Space''. Chiodos released their first full-length album, titled ''All's Well That Ends Well'', on July 26, 2005. Their second album, '' Bone Palace Ballet'', was released in North America on September 4, 2007 and debuted at number 5 on the ''Billboard'' 200 Billboard.com - Artist Chart History - Chiodos/ref> and number 1 on the Independent Albums. Warped Tour
The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. Although Vans continued as main sponsor and lent its name to the festival, other sponsors also participated, with stages or other aspects of the festival being named after them on occasion. Warped Tour was conceived by Kevin Lyman as an electric alternative rock festival, but later began focusing on punk rock music. ''Bone Palace Ballet'' is the second album by American post-hardcore band Chiodos, released on September 4, 2007. The album takes its name from a literary work of Charles Bukowski. It was their last album with vocalist Craig Owens and drummer Derrick Frost, until they both rejoined the band in 2012. Following the album's release, it entered the U.S. ''Billboard'' 200 chart at number 5 and the ''Top Independent Albums'' at number 1, selling over 39,000 copies in its first week, making it one of the highest-charting post-hardcore albums to date. By January 2009, the album had sold more than 200,000 copies in the United States alone. ''Killer Klowns from Outer Space'' is a 1988 American science fiction horror comedy film written, directed and produced by the Chiodo Brothers, and starring Grant Cramer, Suzanne Snyder, John Allen Nelson and John Vernon. It is the only movie written and directed by the Chiodo Brothers, who also created the practical effects and makeup. It concerns a clan of evil extraterrestrials who resemble clowns. They arrive on Earth and invade a small town in order to capture, kill and harvest the human inhabitants to use as sustenance. The Chiodo Brothers (Stephen, Charles & Edward Chiodo; ; born in Bronx, New York) are an American trio of sibling special effects artists, specializing in clay modeling, creature creation, stop motion and animatronics. Post-hardcore is a punk rock music genre that maintains the aggression and intensity of hardcore punk but emphasizes a greater degree of creative expression. Brandon Allen Bolmer is an American singer-songwriter, music producer, and visual artist. Musical career Yesterdays Rising (2002–2010) Brandon was the original and only vocalist of Yesterdays Rising, being a founding member along with Richie Ochoa (guitar), Jamie Ethridge (drums), Justin Panno (bass guitar), and Jon Bloom (guitar), who formed in 2002. Andrew Tanner Wayne (born May 18, 1988) is an American musician, best known for being the former drummer of Underminded, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and Chiodos.
