China Policy Institute
The China Policy Institute (CPI) is a research centre in the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Nottingham, that is focused on various aspects of contemporary China. It has a remit to disseminate policy relevant insights from academic research and to actively engage policymakers, society and business actors. The CPI works closely with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and other stakeholders. School Of Politics And International Relations, University Of Nottingham
The School of Politics and International Relations is an academic department at the University of Nottingham, England housed in the Law and Social Sciences Building (LASS) together with Law and Sociology. The school runs nine undergraduate programmes, nine postgraduate programmes and have a 40-strong PhD community. Research activity in the school is ranked around 7 Institutes. the head of school is Associate Professor Caitlin Milazzo. Jonathan Sullivan (political Scientist)
Jonathan Sullivan (Chinese: 蘇立文) is a British political scientist and Sinologist who researches political communications in China, Taiwan and other East Asian contexts, China's Internet and cyber-nationalism, studies of the Confucius Institutes, and China's politics of celebrity culture, hip hop and football. Sullivan is Head of China Programmes at the Asia Research Institute (ARI) and associate professor in Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. Steve Tsang
Steve Tsang (born Tsang Yui-sang in 1959) is a political scientist and historian whose expertise includes politics and governance in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, the foreign and security policies of China and Taiwan, and peace and security in East Asia. He is the current Director of the SOAS China Institute at the SOAS University of London. The University of Nottingham is a public university, public research university in Nottingham, United Kingdom. It was founded as University College Nottingham in 1881, and was granted a royal charter in 1948. The University of Nottingham belongs to the research intensive Russell Group association.
