Children Of The Deuce
Fire Deuce is a band created as a side-project by Travis Stever, the lead guitarist of Coheed and Cambria. The band features members of other bands, such as Joey Eppard, Billy Riker, Chris Gartmann, and Joe Stote from the band 3, Claudio Sanchez from the band Coheed and Cambria, and Josh Eppard (rapper Weerd Science and drummer of Coheed and Cambria). The 80's style metal group released their debut EP "Children Of The Deuce" on May 10, 2005, on CI Records. In an interview with ''Alternative Press'' in 2005, Travis Stever said that "three of the songs were fueled by Southern Comfort... and one by vodka". Travis Stever
Travis Stever (born November 25, 1978) is an American musician who is best known as the lead guitarist and co-founder of progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. Coheed and Cambria Travis Stever is a founding member of Coheed and Cambria. The band is named after the title characters in lead singer-guitarist Claudio Sanchez's story, which is central to most of the band's albums. Stever acts as a lead and rhythm guitarist in the band. He wrote the lyrics for the song "Ten Speed". He and Sanchez share leads and solos in the band's music, and often switch back and forth in the "dueling guitar" style made popular in the 1970s. Side projects Stever is the lead guitarist and vocalist of a side project called Fire Deuce, a 1980s-style metal band who released "Children of the Deuce" in 2005. Joey Eppard
Joey Eppard is a music writer, recording artist, and the lead vocalist and guitarist for the experimental/progressive rock band, 3. He is also the brother of Josh Eppard, the drummer for Coheed and Cambria and former drummer of 3. In addition to his work with 3, Joey Eppard has worked with many other musicians and bands, including Parliament-Funkadelic and Bad Brains. He also serves as a guitarist and vocalist for the psychedelic/funk band DRUGS: The Mis-Americans (in which Garry Shider and several other P-Funk members are also involved).
