Chyhyryn
Chyhyryn ( uk, Чигирин, ) is a city and historic site located in Cherkasy Raion of Cherkasy Oblast of central Ukraine. From 1648 to 1669 the city was a Hetman residence. After a forced relocation of the Ruthenian Orthodox metropolitan see from Kyiv in 1658, it became a full-fledged capital of the Cossack Hetmanate. Chyhyryn also became a traditional place for the appointment to the office of Hetman of Zaporizhian Host. It hosts the administration of Chyhyryn urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Nikolai Vasilievich Chigirinsky (russian: Никола́й Васи́льевич Чигири́нских; born July 17, 1983), known as The Pervouralsk Ripper (russian: Первоуральский потрошитель), is a Russian serial killer. Biography Chigirinsky was born on July 17, 1983, in the city of Pervouralsk in the family of a plant security guard and a butcher. While still in school, he began to steal, and was detained while attempting to steal from the city's food store, for which he was registered in the Inspectorate for Juvenile Affairs of the Internal Affairs Directorate. By that time Chigirinsky had already been registered with a psychiatrist, and according to some reports, he had a birth trauma associated with the nervous system. Shalva Chigirinsky (, born July 1, 1949) is an Israeli-Russian businessman, who was the major shareholder of AIM-listed British oil company Sibir Energy Plc.
