Indy Eleven NPSL is an American soccer team based in Westfield, Indiana. The team plays in National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national amateur league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Midwest Region. The team plays its home games on the turf practice field at Grand Park in Westfield. The team's colors are red and white. The team was initially known as the Rockford Raptors before moving to the Chicago area to become the Chicago Fire NPSL. They later moved to Indiana to become the Indiana Fire before switching their affiliation to North American Soccer League club Indy Eleven. Westfield, Indiana
Westfield is a city in Hamilton County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 30,068, and in 2020 the population was 46,410. Westfield is in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. History Westfield was founded on May 6, 1834, by North Carolina Quakers Asa Bales, Ambrose Osborne and Simon Moon. It is believed that the town was planned as a stop on the Underground Railroad with many families of the Religious Society of Friends and the Wesleyan Methodist Church supporting the cause. When the laws against aiding escaped slaves were made harsher, part of the Westfield Quaker Friends Meeting House split into the Anti-Slavery Friends meeting. Bridgeview is a village in Cook County, Illinois, Cook County, Illinois, United States. It is located approximately southwest of the Chicago Loop. Brian Roberts (born August 28, 1982 in Los Angeles, California) is a retired American soccer defender who played for the Kansas City Wizards of Major League Soccer. The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is an American men's association football, soccer league. The NPSL is a semi-professional league, comprising some teams that have paid players and some that are entirely amateur. The league is officially affiliated to the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and has automatic qualification for the U.S. Open Cup. It is the successor of the Men's Premier Soccer League, a regional league originally based in the Western United States, which has now expanded nationwide to encompass teams from 29 states.
