The seventh season of '' Chicago Fire'', an American drama television series from executive producer Dick Wolf and producers Derek Haas and Matt Olmstead, was ordered on May 9, 2018, by NBC. The season premiered on September 26, 2018, with a timeslot change from Thursday at 10:00 p.m. to Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. The season concluded on May 22, 2019, and contained 22 episodes. ''Chicago Fire'' is an American drama television series created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, with Dick Wolf as an executive producer. It is the first installment of Wolf Entertainment's ''Chicago'' franchise, which deals with different public services in Chicago, Illinois. Annette Ngozi Ilonzeh (born August 23, 1983) is a Nigerian-American actress.
