Chełm is a Polish parliamentary constituency in the Lublin Voivodeship. It elects twelve members of the Sejm. The district has the number '7' and is named after the city of Chełm. The Sejm (English: , Polish: ), officially known as the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (Polish language, Polish: ''Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej''), is the lower house of the bicameralism, bicameral parliament of Poland. Zamość
Zamość (; yi, זאמאשטש, Zamoshtsh; la, Zamoscia) is a historical city in southeastern Poland. It is situated in the southern part of Lublin Voivodeship, about from Lublin, from Warsaw. In 2021, the population of Zamość was 62,021. Zamość was founded in 1580 by Jan Zamoyski, Grand Chancellor of Poland, who envisioned an ideal city. Jacek Sasin
Jacek Robert Sasin (born 6 November 1969 in Warsaw) is a Polish politician and former local government official. In 2007 he assumed the role of voivode of the Masovian Voivodeship. His career included stints as the deputy head of the Chancellery of the President and as secretary of state in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. Polish People's Party
The Polish People's Party ( pl, Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe, PSL) is an agrarian political party in Poland. It is currently led by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Its history traces back to 1895, when it held the name People's Party, although its name was changed to the present one in 1903. The Agreement ( pl, Porozumienie), formally known as Jarosław Gowin's Agreement ( pl, Porozumienie Jarosława Gowina), is a centre-right political party in Poland. Riad Haidar (1 August 1951 – 25 May 2023; Arabic: ریاض حیدر) was a Polish politician, physician, and social activist. From 2019 to 2023 he was a member of the Sejm of Poland, and from 2010 to 2019 he was a member of the Lublin Voivodeship Sejmik. The Civic Coalition ( pl, Koalicja Obywatelska, KO)) is a catch-all political alliance in Poland. The alliance was formed around Civic Platform in opposition to the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party. The coalition's name uses a play on words with ''Ja Obywatel'', which translates to "I, Citizen".
