Cheryl Bogart
Cheryl Bogart (born November 27, 1977) is an American music industry veteran and spinal cord injury awareness advocate. Personal life Bogart was born in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, Illinois and is of Russian, Polish and Italian descent. She spent her early life in Beverly Hills, CA and graduated from Good Shepherd Catholic School, followed by Beverly Hills High School. Her higher learning continued at Wilbur Wright College and Santa Monica City College. In her 20s she became business partners and married music executive and songwriter Evan Bogart. In October 2005, Bogart sustained an incomplete spinal cord injury as a result of a fall. She became a passionate advocate for spinal cord injuries, supporting research and cures for regenerative medicine and nanotechnology, while still maintaining her place in the music industry. Oak Park, Illinois
Oak Park is a village in Cook County, Illinois, adjacent to Chicago. It is the 29th-most populous municipality in Illinois with a population of 54,583 as of the 2020 U.S. Census estimate. Oak Park was first settled in 1835 and later incorporated in 1902, when it separated from Cicero, Illinois, Cicero. Architect Frank Lloyd Wright and his wife settled in Oak Park in 1889, and his work heavily influenced local architecture and design, including the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio. The New York ''Daily News'', officially titled the ''Daily News'', is an American newspaper based in Jersey City, NJ. Jackson Browne
Clyde Jackson Browne (born October 9, 1948) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and political activist who has sold over 18 million albums in the United States. Emerging as a precocious teenage songwriter in mid-1960s Los Angeles, he had his first successes writing songs for others, writing "These Days" as a 16-year-old; the song became a minor hit for the German singer and Andy Warhol protégé Nico in 1967. Inside Recordings is a Los Angeles, California based independent record label founded by singer-songwriter Jackson Browne in 1999. Browne has stated that the mission of the label is to "create a haven for music that might not find a home in the mainstream." In 2005, Inside Recordings signed a nationwide direct distribution deal with independent music distributor Alternative Distribution Alliance. The label's inaugural release under the agreement was Browne's own '' Solo Acoustic, Vol. 1'', which was released in the U.S. on October 11, 2005.
