Chase is a city in Rice County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 396. History For millennia, the land now known as Kansas was inhabited by Native Americans. In 1803, most of modern Kansas was secured by the United States as part of the Louisiana Purchase. ''Chase'' was the debut album by jazz-rock fusion band Chase. Bill Chase was already a well-established lead trumpet player when he decided to form his own band. He recruited three other veteran trumpet players and vocalist Terry Richards, backed them with a rock rhythm section, and created a band which merged both jazz and rock styles. The album was recorded in Chicago in November and early December 1970 and released in April 1971. The single "Get It On" spent thirteen weeks on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart starting in May 1971, eventually peaking at #24 in July of that year. This success drove album sales to more than 400,000 units - unusually high for a jazz artist. Chase Coaches
Chase Coaches was a bus company operating in the Black Country. History Chase Coaches was established when Graham Dodd purchased the business of Churchbridge Luxury Coaches. Following deregulation in 1986, bus operations commenced. The livery of white, orange and brown was adopted after the purchase of some former Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive Leyland National buses. The original fleet livery was off-white with prussian blue relief. On 25 February 2007, the business was purchased by Arriva Midlands with 27 buses and 40 employees. At the time of the sale, the majority of the fleet were Leyland Nationals, but also included one Ikarus Citibus bodied DAF SB220 and three UVG Urbanstar bodied Dennis Dart SLFs. All the buses apart from the Ikarus and three Darts were sold at auction. The DAF and one of the Darts moved to Shrewsbury depot, with Cannock garage using the other two Darts. Chase is an unincorporated community in Grant Township, Benton County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. Chase River, known in the Hulquminum language as ''Kulwulton'', is a river on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, discharging into the Strait of Georgia at the south end of Nanaimo Harbour. ''Chase'' was the last in a string of solo debuts by members of the boy group Shinee. It contains six songs belonging to the hip hop and R&B genres, including lead single "Chase".
