John Charles Morgan (born 9 August 1955) is an English musician, singer and songwriter. Early years Charlie Morgan was born in Hammersmith, London. He became professional in 1973 Music career By the mid-1980s, Charlie Morgan had become one of the top session drummers in the UK. In the 1980s he played on albums by artists including Elton John, Gary Moore, Justin Hayward, Kate Bush, Roy Harper, Pete Townshend, Judie Tzuke, Clannad, Tracey Ullman and Nik Kershaw. He was also the drummer in Gary Moore & Phil Lynott's video "Out in the Fields". In 1985 his drumming work with Nik Kershaw attracted the attention of Elton John, who booked him to play on his ''Ice on Fire'' album. Later that year John invited him to play with his band at Live Aid. This was the start of a thirteen-year period of recording and touring with John. Charlie Felix Derrington Morgan (born 9 July 1989) is an English sports journalist and former cricketer. Morgan played as a right-handed batsman and fielded as a wicket-keeper. He was born in Leicester, Leicestershire. While studying for his degree at Durham University, Morgan made his first-class debut for Durham UCCE against Lancashire in 2008. He appeared in two further first-class matches for the university in 2009, against Lancashire and Durham. Two more first-class appearances came in 2010 for the university, by now playing as Durham MCCU following a change of name, against Nottinghamshire and Durham. In his five first-class matches, he scored 61 runs at an average of 10.16, with a high score of 38. Behind the stumps, he took 5 catches and made a single stumping. Charlie Morgan (born August 14, 1962, in Atlanta, Georgia) is a retired American soccer defender who played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League and the National Professional Soccer League. He coached in the A-League and was a two time USISL Coach of the Year . Player In 1980, Morgan graduated from Southwest DeKalb High School. Charley E. Morgan (1929 - 2023) is a legendary American sailboat racer and designer. He is best known as the founder of Morgan Yacht Corporation. Early life Morgan was born in Chicago November 1929 and raised in Florida. Morgan built the yacht ''Brisote'' and completed a St. Petersburg, Florida to Havana, Cuba race with Bruce Bidwell. Morgan attended the University of Tampa and took a job with Johnson Sails, located at the Jean Street Shipyard on the Hillsborough River. In 1952 he founded Morgan Racing Sails in Tampa, FL. While making sails Morgan met yacht designer George Luzier, who got him interested in designing boats. Racing In 1957, Morgan, along with Charlie Hunt, designed and built ''Brisote'', a 31-foot plywood yawl. After successfully appealing disqualification due to a lack of engine, he entered the Havana race and took second in ''Brisote's'' division. Charles Arthur Feathers (June 12, 1932 – August 29, 1998) was an American musician most associated with the rockabilly scene of the 1950s. Although not initially recognized for his contributions to rockabilly, over time his presence would become greatly elevated and he has been cited as an influence by a number of musicians. Biography Feathers was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi, United States. He started out as a session musician at Sun Studios, playing any side instrument he could in the hopes of someday making his own music there. He eventually played on a small label started by Sam Phillips called Flip records which got him enough attention to record a couple of singles for Sun Records and Holiday Inn Records.
