Charlie Ashcroft
Charlie Ashcroft (3 July 1926 – 13 March 2010) was an English footballer. His first club was Eccleston Juniors, whom he left in May 1946 for Liverpool F.C., Liverpool. He stayed with them for nine years, appearing 87 times. In June 1955 he signed for Ipswich Town F.C., Ipswich Town, staying for only a season before leaving for Coventry City F.C., Coventry City, his last club. He died at the age of 83 in March 2010. Chorley
Chorley is a town and the administrative centre of the wider Borough of Chorley in Lancashire, England, north of Wigan, south west of Blackburn, north west of Bolton, south of Preston and north west of Manchester. The town's wealth came principally from the cotton industry. In the 1970s, the skyline was dominated by factory chimneys, but most have now been demolished: remnants of the industrial past include Morrisons chimney and other mill buildings, and the streets of terraced houses for mill workers.
