Charles Shufford
Charles Lamont Shufford, Jr. (born February 3, 1973) is an American former professional boxer. He challenged once for the WBO world heavyweight title in 2001. Amateur career Charles Shufford, a nephew of former welterweight contender Horace Shufford, was considered a star of Las Vegas amateur boxing, frequently fighting at Golden Gloves tournaments and Olympic trials. Shufford had 35 (?) amateur fights at super heavyweight (no exact record given), which included fights against Michael Grant (most notably in 1993) and Lance Whitaker, famously beating Whitaker at 1996 Olympic trials, before turning professional in 1996. Lawrence Marvin Clay-Bey (born December 14, 1965) is an American former professional boxer who fought at heavyweight. As an amateur he was a two-time winner (1995 and 1996) of the United States National Championships as well as a bronze medalist at the 1995 World Championships, all in the super heavyweight division. Amateur career Lawrence Clay-Bey started to box at the age of 26. He lost his first two amateur fights but stuck with it and eventually won the National Golden Gloves in his next eight fights. Amateur career Scott started boxing at the age of 11 and had a stellar amateur career. Kelvin Davis (born May 26, 1978) is an American boxer. He is a former IBF cruiserweight champion. Known as "Concrete", Davis, a compact pressure fighter, turned pro in 1999. He was undefeated in his first 20 fights, including a draw with veteran David Vedder (record 21-19-3) in 2001 and a points win over 37-year-old Ex IBF-titleholder Arthur Williams. He lost for the first time to little-known Ravea Springs (24-2). In 2003 he got an IBF-eliminator fight against O'Neil Bell, who knocked him out.
