Charles Leclerc
Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc (; born 16 October 1997) is a Monégasque racing driver who competes in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari, Ferrari. Leclerc was runner-up in the Formula One World Drivers' Championship in with Ferrari, and has won Formula One Grands Prix, Grands Prix across eight seasons. Born and raised in Monte Carlo, Leclerc began competitive kart racing aged seven. After a successful karting career—culminating in his victory at the KF3, junior direct-drive Karting World Cup in 2011—Leclerc graduated to junior formulae. The 2024 Dutch Grand Prix (officially known as the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix 2024) was a Formula One motor race held on 25 August 2024 at Circuit Zandvoort in Zandvoort, Netherlands. It was the fifteenth round of the 2024 Formula One World Championship. McLaren's Lando Norris took pole position, with Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing starting in second. Verstappen passed Norris before the first corner of lap 1, but Norris retook the lead on lap 18. GP2 Series
The GP2 Series was a form of open wheel motor racing introduced in 2005 following the discontinuation of the long-term Formula One feeder series, Formula 3000. The GP2 format was conceived by Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore, while Ecclestone also has the rights to the name GP1. The series was organized by Bruno Michel. In 2010, the GP3 Series class was launched, as a feeder class for the GP2 series. In 2017, the series was rebranded as the FIA Formula 2 Championship. Prema Racing, previously known as Prema Powerteam, is an Italian motorsport team, owned and operated through the '' DC Racing Solutions'' parent company. The FIA Formula 2 Championship (F2) is a second-tier single-seater championship organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). ART Grand Prix is a French motor racing team that competes in formula single-seaters in Europe. In 2012, it competed in the GP2 Series and GP3 Series as Lotus GP to reflect sponsorship from British sports and racing car manufacturer Lotus. The team competed as Lotus ART in 2011. The FIA Formula 3 European Championship was a European Formula Three (F3) auto racing competition, organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). After one season of the FIA Formula 3 International Trophy, the FIA revived the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The ten-event season included seven Formula 3 Euro Series rounds, two British Formula Three rounds and DTM-supporting round at Brands Hatch.
