Charles F. Ploeger
Charles F. Ploeger (August 4, 1870 – May 26, 1916) was an American farmer, businessman, and politician. Born in the town of Ellington, Outagamie County, Wisconsin, Ploeger moved with his parents to the town of Seymour. Ploeger was a farmer and livestock raiser. He was also involved with the fire insurance business and was president of the Seymour State Bank. Ploeger was involved with the Seymour Fair Association. Ploeger served as Seymour Town Clerk and as chairman of the Seymour Town Board. Seymour served on the school board and was the board clerk. Ploeger served in the Wisconsin State Assembly The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Outagamie County is a county in the northeast region of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 190,705. Its county seat is Appleton. Outagamie County is included in the Appleton, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Appleton-Neenah- Oshkosh, WI Combined Statistical Area. It was named for the historic Meskwaki (Fox) Indians. The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Together with the smaller Wisconsin Senate, the two constitute the legislative branch of the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
