Charles E. Fuller (Baptist Minister)
Charles Edward Fuller (April 25, 1887 – March 18, 1968) was an American Baptist minister and a radio evangelist. Biography He was born in Los Angeles to a prosperous southern California orange grove owner in 1887. Although raised by devout Methodists, he displayed little interest in religious matters as a youth. Fuller graduated from Pomona College in 1910 as a chemist and worked in his father's citrus-packing business in southern California until 1918. Fuller married his high school sweetheart, Grace Payton, in 1910. Fuller was converted under the preaching of Paul Rader, pastor of Chicago's Moody Church in 1916. The Reverend is an style (manner of address), honorific style most often placed before the names of Christian clergy and Minister of religion, ministers. Frank Viola (born October 12, 1964) is an American author, speaker, and blogger on Christian topics. Forest Lawn Memorial Park is a privately owned cemetery in Glendale, California. It is the original and current flagship location of Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries, a chain of six cemeteries and four additional mortuaries in Southern California. History Forest Lawn Memorial Park was founded in 1906 as a not-for-profit cemetery by a group of businessmen from San Francisco. Dr. Hubert Eaton and C.B. Daniel Fuller
Daniel Payton Fuller (born August 28, 1925) is an American theologian and Professor Emeritus of hermeneutics. Fuller is the son of radio evangelist Charles E. Fuller, co-founder of the Fuller Theological Seminary. Life and career Fuller was born in August 1925 in Los Angeles, California, the only child of Charles E. Fuller and Grace Payton Fuller. After graduation from South Pasadena High School in 1943, Fuller enlisted in the United States Navy and became a commissioned officer. He was discharged in 1946. He was ordained at Immanuel Baptist Church in Pasadena, California. He served as Assistant Pastor at Park Street Church, Boston, Massachusetts, from 1949 to 1950. He currently holds the title of Professor Emeritus of hermeneutics at Fuller Theological Seminary, where he taught from 1953 to 1993 and served as Dean of the School of Theology from 1963 to 1973.
