Charles C. Campbell (voice Actor)
Charles C. Campbell is an American voice actor, ADR director and recording engineer for ADV Films/Seraphim Digital and Funimation/Okatron 5000. He provides voices for a number of English-language dubs of Japanese anime films. Career Campbell was employed as ADV Films' first in-house ADR audio engineer. He sat behind the mixing board through many ADV classics, including ''Neon Genesis Evangelion'', ''Blue Seed'', '' Battle Angel'', '' Golden Boy'' and even the live action giant monster classic '' Gamera: Guardian of the Universe''. He moved to Austin in 1998 to open ADV's Monster Island Studios. His directorial and writing debut was in 2000's ''Lost Universe''. After directing the dub of Korean "live action" hit ''No Blood, No Tears'' in 2004, he was transferred back to ADV Studios in Houston. Science Ninja Team Gatchaman
is a Japanese animated franchise about a five-member superhero ninja team created by Tatsuo Yoshida and produced by Tatsunoko Productions. The original anime series, which debuted in 1972, was eponymously entitled ''Kagaku Ninja-tai Gatchaman'' and is best known in the English-speaking world as the adaptation entitled ''Battle of the Planets'' (1978). ''Bamboo Blade'' (stylized as ''BAMBOO BLADE'') is a Japanese manga series written by Masahiro Totsuka and illustrated by Aguri Igarashi. It was serialized in Square Enix's ''Young Gangan'' magazine from December 2004 to September 2010. , also known as ''Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts'', is a Japanese light novel series written by Kenji Inoue with illustrations by Yui Haga. The series revolves around Akihisa Yoshii, the titular baka (idiot) and his friends at Fumizuki Academy, a school where students are sorted into classes based on their entrance exam test grades. The top classes receive better classroom equipment and benefits, while the bottom classes receive very little. Sentai Filmworks, LLC or just Sentai, is an American entertainment company owned by AMC Networks. Located in Houston, the company specializes in the dubbing and distribution of Japanese animation and Asian cinema. Its post-production arm is Sentai Studios. The company has its origins in A.D. Vision, which was founded in 1992 by video game fan John Ledford and Matt Greenfield. ADV collapsed due to low sales and eventually liquidated their assets in 2009. Ledford founded Sentai in 2008 and acquired the majority of ADV's titles. Sentai was then acquired by New York City-based AMC Networks in 2022 and became its subsidiary.
