Thudellage Charitha Buddhika Fernando (also known as Charitha Buddika; born 22 August 1980) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer, who played Tests and One Day International matches for the national side. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Early and domestic career Charitha is a past student of St. John's College Panadura. He made his Twenty20 debut on 17 August 2004, for Colombo Cricket Club in the 2004 SLC Twenty20 Tournament. International career Buddhika made a good One Day International debut, taking a wicket with his first legal delivery and finishing the match with figures of five wickets for 67 runs, the second-best bowling figures for a Sri Lankan player in their debut match. Herath Mudiyanselage Charitha Herath (born 9 September 1967) is current member of Parliament from National List, Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE). and the Professor of Philosophy at the University of Peradeniya. His appointment was valid from 21 June 2019. Chair Professorship of Philosophy at Peradeniya has been one of the well established academic position. Charitha Pattiaratchi ( Sinhala: චරිත පට්ටිආරච්චි , Tamil: சரித பட்டிஆரச்சி) is a Winthrop Professor of coastal oceanography at the University of Western Australia. He leads the UWA Coastal Oceanography Group. and the IMOS Australian National Facility for Ocean Gliders. He has played an active role in research related to coastal ocean physical processes and their influence on climate, biological, and geological processes in estuaries, the nearshore (beach) zone, the continental shelf region and the deep ocean. Visharadha Charitha Priyadarshani Peiris ( si, චරිතා ප්‍රියදර්ශනී පීරිස්: born 19 October 1967), is a Sri Lankan songstress, playback singer and announcer. Personal life Priyadarshani was born on 19 October 1967 in Mirihana, Nugegoda. She has one older sister, Malika. Her father, Ariyadasa Peiris, was a popular radio artist and filmmaker. Her mother, Pushpa Wijeratne, was a housewife who died in 2001 after a brief illness. Priyadarshani completed education from Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda. Jayampathy Charitha Ratwatte III (known as Charitha Ratwatte; born 1948) is a Sri Lankan lawyer and bureaucrat. He is a senior adviser to the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka and former Secretary to the Treasury. He was the chairman of the United National Party. He is the son of J. C. Ratwatte Adigar, a member of the State Council of Ceylon, who hailed from a prominent Radala family from the Kingdom of Kandy. Educated at Royal College Colombo, Ratwatte graduated from the University of Ceylon, Colombo, with a degree in Law in 1970 and took oaths as an advocate. In 1977, Ratwatte was appointed by President J. R. Jayawardene as Chairman of the National Youth Services Council and became the Director General of Youth Services in 1979.
