Chapter 2 (g.o.d Album)
''Chapter 2'' is the second album of South Korean pop music group g.o.d. It was much better received than their debut album, as evidenced by sales figures, and several songs in the album won the #1 ranking on various music programs and multiple awards. Reception The album contains several of g.o.d's most famous songs. Danny Ahn has credited the album, particularly its title track, with propelling the group to mainstream success, especially after their debut performance and album earlier that year had met with lukewarm critical reception. Producer Park Jin-young has stated that the group had prepared this album under much pressure and may have disbanded for good had it not succeeded. Although the album debuted at only #10 in the RIAK monthly chart, it would go on to sell over 500,000 copies. K-pop
K-pop (), short for Korean popular music, is a form of popular music originating in South Korea as part of South Korean culture. It includes styles and genres from around the world, such as pop, hip hop, R&B, experimental, rock, jazz, gospel, reggae, electronic dance, folk, country, disco, and classical on top of its traditional Korean music roots. Yoo Gun-hyung (Hangul: 유건형; born February 14, 1979) is a South Korean recording artist and record producer, best known for his work with PSY, and, in particular, their international hit Gangnam Style. Biography Yoo Gun-Hyung was introduced to the world of K-pop in 1996 as one-half (along with Suh Jung-Hwan) of the Korean hip hop duo ''Untitle.'' Yoo and Suh were both still in high school, and gained particular recognition in the Korean music industry because they were already writing their own songs. Kim Tae-woo (; born May 12, 1981) is a South Korean singer, best known as the lead vocalist of boy band g.o.d. He debuted in 1999 as a member of g.o.d and continued as a solo artist after the group went on hiatus in 2006. In addition to his solo career, Kim has also sung the OSTs of award-winning popular dramas and performed in musicals. The 2000 Mnet Music Video Festival (MMF) was the second of the annual music awards in Seoul, South Korea that took place on November 24, 2000, at the Little Angels Arts Center.
