The Chantal Range (russian: Чантальский хребет) is a range of mountains in far North-eastern Russia. Administratively the range is part of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug of the Russian Federation. Geography The Chantal Range is located in the central area of the Chukotka Mountains, part of the East Siberian System of ranges. Jane Frances De Chantal
Jane Frances de Chantal, VHM (born Jeanne-Françoise Frémyot, Baronness of Chantal; 28 January 1572 – 13 December 1641) was a French Catholic noble widow and nun who was beatified in 1751 and canonized in 1767. She founded the Order of the Visitation of Holy Mary. The religious order accepted women who were rejected by other orders because of poor health or age. When people criticized her, Chantal famously said, "What do you want me to do? I like sick people myself; I'm on their side." During its first eight years, the new order also was unusual in its public outreach, in contrast to most female religious who remained cloistered and adopted strict ascetic practices. 1707 Chantal, provisional designation , is a stony background asteroid from the Florian region in the inner asteroid belt, approximately in diameter. It was discovered on 8 September 1932, by astronomer Eugène Delporte at the Royal Observatory of Belgium in Uccle. The S-type asteroid has a rotation period of at least 10 hours. It was named for Chantal, the niece of Belgian astronomer Georges Roland. Chateau Chantal is a winery located on the Old Mission Peninsula, only a few miles north of Traverse City, in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. Early life and career Andere was born to Mexican actress Jacqueline Andere (born 1938) and Argentine writer Jose Maria Fernandez Unsain (1918–1997) in Mexico City, Mexico.
